Israel’s military reported on Monday that they had discovered the largest rocket manufacturing facility used by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist organization in Gaza.

Soldiers from the Commando Brigade, the 401st Armored Brigade, and the Yahalom engineering unit raided the illicit underground factory located west of central Rafah in the border city’s Tel al-Sultan neighborhood.
Officials estimated that hundreds of projectiles had been fabricated there since its construction.
Several gunmen were said to have been eliminated during the operation.
Also on Monday, the IDF reported that an Israeli soldier was killed and another was seriously injured in a roadside bomb attack in the West Bank.
