President Biden’s Brother Supported by Democratic Donors, Impeachment Report Shows

The impeachment report by three House committees provides evidence presidential brother James Biden took loans from Democratic donors, failed to repay full value.

The House impeachment report released Monday puts loans from Democratic donors to presidential brother James Biden in the spotlight, drawing attention other Biden family members who are often overshadowed by Hunter and Joe Biden’s scandals.

The record of James Biden’s loans, though often overlooked in favor of his nephew’s foreign business dealings, follows a similar pattern established by Hollywood lawyer Kevin Morris’ financial assistance to that nephew, Hunter Biden.

The House Oversight, Judiciary, and Ways and Means committees found that James Biden received loans from at least two Democratic donors that likely exceeded $1 million in total, according to the report.

The first loan came in 2016 from a wealthy Ukrainian-American car dealer in Delaware, John Hynansky. James Biden confirmed that Joe Biden had previously met with the car dealer, who also donated to Biden’s campaigns. FEC records show that Hynansky is a major donor to Democratic candidates and their PAC's, having donated tens of thousands of dollars in only the last several years.

Hynansky and his family have donated over $100,00 to Joe Biden’s campaigns, the report states. In fact, during a 2009 speech in Ukraine, then-Vice President Biden called his brother’s benefactor “my very good friend.”

During his testimony before the Oversight Committee, James Biden said the loan was for about $900,000, but his attorney interjected to claim the value was “half of that.”

“The conflicting statements from James Biden and his lawyer suggest that Mr. Hynansky may have loaned approximately $900,000 in total to James Biden, only half of which is documented,” the report reads.

The second Democratic donor contributor was Joey Langston, a long-time Biden family friend who fundraised for Joe Biden’s Senate campaign events.

The GOP-led House committees found five loans totaling over $200,000 to James Biden’s Lion Hall Group in 2016 and 2017. Additionally, Langston loaned James Biden about $800,000 to help him cover costs for his Florida home, but Biden had only repaid about half that value.

Langston reportedly hosted fundraisers for then-Senator Joe Biden and also sought legislative assistance from him, according to ProPublica.

James Biden’s receipt of substantial sums from donors closely mirrors the financial assistance Hunter Biden received from his lawyer, friend, and donor Kevin Morris.

The assistance flowed predominantly from the prominent Democratic donor and powerful Hollywood lawyer, who the first son reportedly befriended at one of his father’s fundraising events, according to The New York Times.

In November, Just the News reviewed evidence compiled by federal and congressional investigators that showed Hunter Biden collected over $6 million from Morris since his father began running for the presidency in 2020.

The report puts a finishing touch on the wider Biden family scandals that began in 2019 during the advent of the last presidential election, but it is unlikely to result in a formal impeachment since Biden has stepped down and handed over the reins of the Democratic Party to his vice president, Kamala Harris.
