ISIS stops women from being treated by gynecologists; Closes women’s clinics

ISIS has allegedly called for the closing of all women’s clinics in Raqqa, the terror group’s headquarters in Syria, threatening to kill doctors, according to a human rights group. This is the latest in the Islamic State’s war on women, raping them, taking them as sex slaves, and forcing young children into marriages. ISIS is trying to restrict the interaction between men and women by keeping these physicians away from their female patients, according to some activists. The UK Independent reported the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the women’s clinics in Raqqa, which were supervised by males had been closed down, according to their sources. “People expressed their resentment over these steps taken by [Isis] regarding health and medical staff in the city, which already suffers from the lack of female medical staff engaged in these tasks,” the group said. The terror group, focused on expanding ‘the Caliphate,’ is recruiting women of all ages as wives and mothers to give rise to the next generation of ISIS. They are also used as sex slaves and ‘prizes’ given to male fighters. According to witnesses, the threatened doctors have already fled, adding to Syria’s migrant crisis, sending victims of terror westward to safety.
