On Sunday, Israeli law enforcement officials announced the arrest of three individuals accused of firing illumination flares at Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s private residence in Caesarea.
No damage to the property structure was reported after the devices landed in a garden area while Netanyahu and his family were away at an undisclosed location.
The unnamed suspects, described by authorities as anti-government activists, were apprehended shortly after the disturbance and are currently being held under a five-day detention order.
Israel's President Isaac Herzog condemned the arson, affirming, "the police should deal with those responsible for the incident as soon as possible."
Last month, an explosive drone deployed by Hezbollah operatives from their positions in Lebanon detonated outside of the prime minister’s bedroom window.
