On Monday evening, former United States President Donald Trump sat for a two-hour livestream interview on X with its owner, Elon Musk.

The conversation, delayed for 40 minutes due to a malfunction from an apparent DDOS attack, came after Trump posted several times on the platform after being banned from the service by its previous owners in 2021.
When the technical issues were corrected, the popular microblog showed that at least 1.3 million individuals listened the exchange.
Promoted by Musk as an "unscripted" event with "no limits on subject matter," the two men discussed a variety of topics, including Trump's recent assassination attempt, the U.S. economy, education, energy policy, foreign relations, the national debt, immigration, and inflation.
Trump criticized his primary opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris, calling her a “San Francisco liberal” and suggesting that if she were to become President, she would likely shift further to the left than she is as a candidate.
Harris faced additional contempt for avoiding the media since becoming her party’s presumptive presidential nominee, with Trump claiming that "Kamala wouldn’t have this conversation" because "she's not too smart."
Musk, who has endorsed the Republican from Florida, received a regulatory warning from European Union Commissioner Thierry Breton regarding the potential "amplification of harmful content" that could occur during the episode.
Musk responded to the bureaucrat with a vulgar response on his personal X account.
