Demonstrators in Dearborn, Michigan were seen chanting “death to America” and “death to Israel,” while observing ‘International Quds Day’ on Friday. The incident was reportedly streamed live on Dearborn.org and Facebook.
The annual ‘holiday,’ created by Ayatollah Khomeini shortly after the Iranian Revolution, is an anti-Israel event known to attract pro-terrorist celebrants.
In a video posted by the Middle East Media Research Center, local activist Tarek Bazzi, quoted Malcolm X by saying that America is one of “the rottenest countries that has ever existed on this earth,” before suggesting that “it’s not genocide Joe that’s got to go, it is the entire system that has to go.”
Bazzi went on to explain that “when these fools ask us if Israel has the right to exist, the chant ‘death to Israel’ has become the most logical chant shouted across the world today.”
The following speaker, Imam Usama Abdulghani, continued the antisemitic rhetoric of the day, by describing the Jewish state as a “cancer” that is being governed by “Nazis” and “fascists.”
Participants were also heard shouting "from the river to the sea," a phrase that many Jewish leaders classify as having genocidal aspirations.
