The ruling political party of the Palestinian Authority has claimed on television that the Hamas terrorist organization steals humanitarian shipments and is responsible for the deaths of aid workers in Gaza.
Speaking on the Fatah-run Awdah TV, a news presenter accuses the terror group of killing assistance workers for the purpose of “preventing any activity by any [other] party in the Gaza Strip; and secondly, ensuring Hamas control over the aid and its storage, which of course leads to these crazy and unreal prices that no one can pay in the shadow of this destruction."
The news story, reported by Palestinian Media Watch, contradicts allegations by U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken who said of aid efforts, “the results on the ground are woefully insufficient and unacceptable” and that “an immediate ceasefire is essential to stabilize and improve the humanitarian situation.”
Describing the report as “an incredible and rare admission,” the watchdog said that “Fatah has corroborated what Israel has been saying all along: that Hamas is responsible for turmoil connected to distribution of the humanitarian aid sent into Gaza.”
