A business executive who worked for Kanye West has alleged the rapper has long admired Adolf Hitler — and many close to him have been well aware.
“He would praise Hitler by saying how incredible it was that he was able to accumulate so much power and would talk about all the great things he and the Nazi Party achieved for the German people,” the individual, who asked not to be named due to a confidentiality agreement and fear of retribution by West, divulged to CNN.
West’s former employee said that the rapper created a hostile work environment partly fostered by his “obsession” with the Nazi leader.
They also said that West openly discussed reading “Mein Kampf,” Hitler’s 1925 autobiographical manifesto, and lamented on about his “admiration” for the Nazi party, specifically noting their use of propaganda. The executive also informed the media that those close to West were “fully aware” of his affinity for Hitler and the Nazi party.
West even pushed to name his 2018 album “Hitler” before being convinced into “Ye,” four sources also confirmed to CNN.
