The Western world is “rewarding” Iran’s brutal regime, according to The Foreign Desk’s Editor-in-Chief Lisa Daftari. “It seems as though the more brutal they act, the more the Western world is looking to reward them,” she told Sky News host Rita Panahi. “I’m talking about the United States, the EU, the UN; they are getting high-level positions at the UN, they are being honoured at the UN. “Leaked documents show the United States has been working back channels to get back into a nuclear deal, to normalise relations.”
