Hezbollah Leader Threatens Israel Not to Launch Attacks from Bahrain or UAE

The leader of terror group Hezbollah recently threatened that if the state of Israel were to attack Iran from Bahrain or the UAE, Iran “could attack Israel directly.”

Hassan Nasrallah made these comments in a speech marking International Al-Quds, an annual event to express support for the Palestinian resistance against Israel, particularly choosing to focus on recent friendships between the Jewish state and its Arab neighbors developed in the Abraham Accords.

Ever since the Islamic Republic created and backed the Shiite Muslim terrorist party to attack Israel from the Southern area of Lebanon, Nasrallah and his supporters have essentially taken over the social and political atmosphere of the country, winning parliamentary elections and backing candidates that support the group’s cause.

The Islamic Republic of Iran has used Lebanon as a staging ground for its operations against Israel, training Hezbollah and Hamas supporters to conduct terrorist attacks against Israeli soldiers and civilians. Southern Lebanon, the area where Hezbollah is mostly active, has received ample amount of weaponry from the Islamic Republic, firing and coordinating rocket attacks against Israel with Hamas and Islamic Jihad.

The Al-Quds rally occurred on the last Friday of the Muslim holy fasting month of Ramadan, dedicated by the late Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini who marked it as the day that Jerusalem would be liberated, and the “Zionist entity” would be destroyed once and for all.

While the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) has its own Quds Force or Jerusalem Force to liberate the Jewish capital, the group uses groups like Hezbollah to enact terrorist attacks against the Israeli military and civilians in the area.

During the speech to Hezbollah and other Iranian backed terrorist groups, Nasrallah directed his ire towards Arab countries like Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which normalized relations with the Jewish states and signed the Abraham Accords during the Trump administration. In his message, Nasrallah related his sentiments towards Jerusalem and its government stating that Iran could attack the Jewish state directly with full force, killing all its inhabitants. Nasrallah also referred to the parliamentary elections occurring this month in Lebanon, vowing that it would not prevent him or his organization from responding to what he described as “Israeli aggression.”

Gulf Arab Countries like Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia, and others in the past few years have opened friendly relations with the Jewish state as they have been the target of Iran’s terrorist proxies in the region, believing that a united Middle East will thwart Iranian aggression and put its terrorist proxies like Hezbollah on notice. Hezbollah and other terrorist organization like Hamas in the Gaza Strip, the Houthi Rebels in Yemen, and the

Palestinian Islamic Jihad in Gaza and in the West Bank, have stated that Arab nations siding with Israel are “sellouts” who don’t care about Palestinians and should face violence for their friendly relationship with Israel.

In the past several days, the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) fired dozens of artillery shells toward terrorist sites in Southern Lebanon after facing rocket fire into northern Israel near the town of Shlomi. This comes as Hezbollah has continued to receive dozens and dozens of rockets, mortar shells, missiles, and other weaponry from the Islamic Republic to enact the radical Islamic vision of the mullahs in Tehran. Nasrallah went on to call for countries in the Middle East region to send a message to the “Zionist entity” that the extinction of Jerusalem and its holy sites would mean the complete and destruction of the state of Israel.

Israel, for its part, has increased its defense in the past several months, with the Prime Minister recently announcing that the IDF had developed a new defense system that could take down projectiles that Israel’s Iron Dome defense missile system could not. Even though Hezbollah would not be able to strike Israel without gaining approval from Iran, the Israeli government is taking nothing to chance and increasing the state’s military budget and upgrading its current military equipment.

The parliamentary elections are set to occur sometime around in early to mid-May. Whether or not Hezbollah and its candidates win or lose, Nasrallah and his group will continue to hold the country hostage and continue build up their terrorist organization using resources provided by the Islamic Republic so that they can enact the goal of “liberating” Jerusalem. Should Iran and Hezbollah enact some extreme and outrageous attack against the Jewish state, it would result in a conflict that the Middle East has not seen in quite some time.
