Russia successfully launched two satellites for the Islamic Republic early Tuesday, according to the Roscosmos state space corporation.

The Soyuz rocket deployed from the Vostochny Cosmodrome in far eastern Russia and dispatched its payload of 55 orbital devices nine minutes later.

The regime’s satellites included a high-resolution imaging instrument and a communications module that were described by state media as the first products sent into space from Iran’s private technology sector.

The incident marked the third time since August 2022 that Moscow has helped the Islamic Republic place its space equipment into position.
