Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah stated in a televised speech on Wednesday that the Hamas representatives who are negotiating a ceasefire and hostage deal related to the Gaza conflict are acting in the name of the Islamic Republic’s allies in the region.
"Hamas is negotiating on its own behalf and on behalf of the Palestinian factions, and also on behalf of the entire Axis of Resistance. What Hamas accepts, we all accept," Nasrallah declared while speaking at a memorial event for one of his recently eliminated commanders.
The terror boss and agent of the leadership in Tehran warned that if no armistice deal is agreed to, then his organization is prepared to continue its nine-month-long military campaign of almost daily missile incursions that have been indiscriminately targeting northern Israel.
Nasrallah’s comments come as he concluded meetings with a Hamas delegation headed by their foreign affairs chief on July 5, a week prior to their talks with peace mediators in Qatar.
Dubbed by Nasrallah the ‘Axis of Resistance,’ the alliance of Islamic Republic allies also includes Yemen’s Houthi rebels, Gaza’s Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and Shia militants in Iraq. All of these factions have received financial, logistical, and material support from benefactors linked to Tehran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps.
