A video posted on social media Friday purportedly shows members of Hamas beating blindfolded and handcuffed civilians after they were caught taking humanitarian aid that was horded in a Gaza warehouse controlled by the terrorist organization.
In addition to the physical abuse, the restrained victims can be seen having the Arabic word for “thief” spray-painted on their backs.
The Israeli military’s Arabic spokesperson, Lt. Col. Avichay Adraee, described the attackers as “masked human monsters” who were guilty of stealing food that was intended for the area’s local residents.
The incident was not the first time that Hamas has been accused of stealing supplies that were intended for the coastal enclave’s non-combatants. In May, Israeli drone footage documented several of the group's gunmen shooting at people who were attempting to gather donated meals from a UNRWA distribution facility that was commandeered by the Islamists.
