ISIS murders 4-year-old with remote-controlled bomb, week after executing child’s father

ISIS militants in Iraq's Al-Shirqat district killed a four-year-old boy by strapping a bomb to him and detonating it remotely, an Iraqi TV station reported. The brutal killing came a week after the boy’s father was executed by the Caliphate for allegedly attacking and killing two Islamic State members at a checkpoint last month. The terrorists said their intention for killing the young boy in that fashion was so “that his organs would be blown apart,” according to ISIS opponents in Al-Shirqat. The Al-Shirqat District, which has been under ISIS control since the terror group seized the area in June 2014, is an important region providing ISIS opponents strategical benefits in trying to push the jihadis out of Mosul and into the north.
