Three residents of northern Israel were wounded in a Hezbollah missile incursion on Sunday afternoon.
One of the victims from Kfar Yuval in the Upper Galilee was reported to have received serious injuries from the anti-tank munition and was evacuated by helicopter to Rambam Medical Center in Haifa.
The incident came shortly after the IDF announced they had conducted airstrikes against Hezbollah rocket launchers in Aita al-Shaab in southern Lebanon.
Israeli military authorities also indicated that on the same day, 10 Katyusha rockets were fired by Hezbollah at the Misgav Am kibbutz and another 20 of the Soviet-era projectiles were deployed towards the municipality of Mattat. No casualties were disclosed in the latter bombardments.
The IDF also revealed that structures used by the Tehran-backed militia in Bayt Lif, Odaisseh, and Taybeh were targeted by their forces throughout the day.
Since October 8, Hezbollah has launched an estimated 7,500 explosive devices at the northern areas of the Jewish state, causing the evacuation of 60,000 inhabitants and subjecting the region to almost daily attacks.
