On Saturday, a drone fired from Lebanon hit Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's private residence in the coastal city of Caesarea, damaging what is believed to be his bedroom window.

An image of the impact site previously restricted by the country’s security authorities revealed fractured reinforced glass surrounded by burn marks on the adjacent stonework. The munition did not breach the interior of the structure.

Netanyahu and his family were not at home during the attack, and there were no reported injuries to staff members because of the incursion.

The Tehran-backed Hezbollah militia took credit for the incident, acknowledging in a statement that the terrorists assumed “full, complete, and exclusive responsibility” for the strike and vowed to repeat the action in the future.

The Saudi Arabian news outlet Al-Hadath reported Tuesday, citing unnamed sources, that agents from the Islamic Republic based at the regime’s embassy in Beirut were involved in the attempted assassination.
