Seven suspects with ISIS ties were arrested in Indonesia last week for allegedly planning to assassinate Pope Francis when he visited the country, according to a report.
Detachment-88, Indonesia’s anti-terrorism police force, revealed in a statement that the unnamed suspects were arrested in different cities
The suspects' initials are reportedly LB, DF, FA, HS, ER, HFP and RS.
Investigators said they had received tips from the public, which led to the arrests, but it is unclear if the suspects were connected in any way.
The report said that “bows and arrows, a drone, and ISIS leaflets" were discovered at one suspect's home.
