The Biden-Harris administration has deported 3 ISIS terror suspects but declines to prosecute them, drawing criticism.

After learning of an active terror plot, federal law enforcement officials have arrested the suspects in Los Angeles, New York, and Philadelphia four months ago.

CBS News has reported that three of the suspects have been deported to Tajikistan and Russia and five additional suspects are expected to be soon deported.

Not prosecuting the terrorist suspects carries national security risks, according to a former senior U.S. official cited in a Daily Wire report.

“If we are only deporting and not prosecuting foreign nationals with terrorist ties, how soon will we see these same previously deported criminals return and enter undetected to carry out a terrorist attack?” the former official said.

House Homeland Security Chairman Mark Green, R-N.C., expressed concerns about the amount of “possible terrorists, gang members, and individuals with criminal backgrounds” that have been released into the interior of the country under the Biden-Harris administration from the border.

Green said some of the ISIS suspects that have been arrested used the CBP One smartphone application for entry at the border.

CBP One is a government-run app that allows migrants to schedule asylum appointments before arriving at the border.

“It’s good that three potential national security threats have been removed from the country,” Green said. “However, they shouldn’t have been here to begin with. Some even reportedly used Biden and Harris’ CBP One mass-parole scheme to enter.”
