Terrorists Named. UK police have named the three terrorists as Khuram Shazad Butt, Rachid Redouane and Youssef Zaghba. Butt appeared in a U.K. Channel Four documentary last year, “The jihadis next door.” Presently police are withholding information on the identity of the third terrorist, citing “international issues” One of the attackers was found carrying an Irish ID card and its understood that he was a Moroccan born pastry chef who recently moved to London
War of Words. Donald Trump renews war of words with London Mayor Sadiq Kahn, criticizing Kahn who said “no reason to be alarmed” in the aftermath of London attack. Kahn says his words have been misconstrued by the U.S. president. Trump has also used the moment to re-up his calls for a travel ban.
Car Rammings & Soft Targets. With the strengthening of airline security following 9/11, jihadis have constantly looked to new methods of terror. ISIS has instructed its followers to use everyday items like kitchen knives and cars to be the new ‘terrorist weapon of choice’ evident in attacks in the U.S., Canada, U.K, France, Germany, Sweden and Israel. Are these attacks in any way preventable?
